Federal managers can now shamelessly surround themselves with smiling sycophants knowing any disagreement or displeasure is now proof of disloyalty.
Martin Seligman will be thrilled his "subjective happiness" concepts are now being used to detect threats to our national security.
The program assumes Federal employees are incapable of smilingly saying one thing while they honestly believe something else. Is duplicity not part of State Department diplomatic training?
Federal employees who are concerned their occasional bouts of “despondence and grumpiness” could be construed as disloyalty can check out HappinessHabit.com and Creating-Happiness.com to find ways to be genuinely happy despite these new programs.
